This Sunday we started a new series on The Book of Exodus. It is a timely subject, not only because Israel is at present fighting a war against Hamas in Gaza, but also because the church on the verge of another going out, the rapture at the Lord’s return.
In this particular sermon, Afflicted but not Forsaken, we are focused on the situation of the children of Israel in Egypt that led to the exodus. A new king had risen, one who did not know Joseph, and the children of Israel was multiplying fast and becoming stronger. This occasion led to this people being forced to work and afflicted.
